Tangled!

We love a challenge. Not that cake pops or cupcakes are a challenge, but sometimes people say "can you make this or that or the other thing?" and we have to find a way.

Recently, we made cupcakes (60!) and cake pops for a little girl's birthday party. Her theme was "Tangled" and we couldn't be more excited.

We had done Pascal cake pops before so we weren't too worried about them. Cute, right?!

The challenge came with the request for lantern cake pops. We had made samples using candy melt for the design on the front, but that wasn't going to work for 40 of them. After several tried and failed attempts and an incredibly late night, we came up with these:

Aren't they beautiful?! A sun stencil and some color dust did the trick.

Usually when we do cake pops, we offer them two ways; with a "container" to hold them that matches your theme, or just on the stick so you can do what you want with them. This request was for a container, and we bought 3 different kinds until this..........

We're Back!

We are back! After a week long vacation, we have returned refreshed and relaxed. Our visit to Southern California, Hollywood, Las Vegas and the beautiful mountains of Arizona and New Mexico will inspire us to do great work for you and your upcoming event. Our New Logo!

Fun and Unusual Cupcakes

We love making unusual or "different" cupcakes.

It started with the Popcorn Cupcake request. We had no idea what they were but we had so much fun making them that we made them again "just because".

Today I happened upon Sushi Cupcakes. Someone HAS to order these so we can make them!!

I also came across the ever popular Hamburger Cupcake. These use two different kinds of cupcake and are priced a little differently. These are being offered at $25 for 1/2 dozen.

The Sushi Cupcakes can be done in a standard sized unfilled cake for $25/dozen. We CAN create jumbo gourmet filled cupcakes at our usual price of $36/dozen to make HUGE sushi pieces! The choice is yours.

Specialty Pops

We get a few requests for specialty pops now and again. We love making them and figuring things out, however they are time consuming and pricey to do. We just wanted to let you know that we've posted a Specialty Pop disclaimer on our Cake Pop FAQ page, on our price list and our order form. Some of the photos on this site are labeled "specialty".

Don't stop ordering them, we love the challenge. Just let us know what you'd like and we will see what we can come up with to make you happy!
