Cherry Bomb Gourmet Cupcakes & Cake Pops wants to bring the party to you!

Cherry Bomb will come to YOUR party or event and help you and your guests make 12 Perfectly Plain Cake Pops*, coated in candy melt and decorated with your choice of fun and tasty decorations! We bring the supplies and your guests make a unique and delicious party favor to take home!

*additional charge for more than 12 cake pops.

Parties are $50 for 12 Perfectly Plain Cake Pops, 2 candy melt colors, a variety of decorations and treat bags and lollipop sticks. Your choice of cake flavor and candy melt color. You agree to provide access to a microwave oven. All other utensils and tools will be provided. Additional cake pops over 12 are $1.50 each.

Fun and Different Cupcakes

We had a lady contact us this week and ask if we could make "Popcorn Cupcakes" for her daughters birthday party. We had never heard of popcorn cupcakes. Honestly, we thought they would be piled high with real popcorn. After a bit of research, we took the challenge to a new level and created our version of the Popcorn Cupcake!

How cute are these? The "popcorn" is mini marshmallows, torn and twisted to make popcorn. The "butter" is yellow glaze and the "butter sprinkles" are yellow sprinkles! Too much fun to make and definitely on our menu now!

Next, we were contacted by a fantastic woman who is (now) a three-peat customer. She asked if we could make Pina Colada cupcakes. Of course we can. And we put a little spin on 'em!

The cupcakes are our made to order, XL cakes. Our Pina Colada cupcakes start with pineapple-rum cake. The filling is coconut cream with fresh coconut and crushed pineapple mixed in, with a touch of rum. The frosting is vanilla and each cupcake is topped with toasted coconut and our signature Cherry Bomb Cherry!

All of our cupcakes are made to order. They don't sit out and wait for someone to buy them.

We love making our cupcakes as much as our cake pops and we would love to share them with you.

Check out the XL filled cupcakes! They were chocolate filled with strawberry and decorated to look like rattles. The flowers were each hand made by Linda and 100% delicious. So cute!

A new spin on a popular idea creates something new!

Creating cake pop flowers isn't new. Bakerella (of course) featured them on her website and in her book. There are countless photos of cake pop flowers all over the internet. So what would make a cake pop flower special?

Maybe if you put it in a biodegradable, organic, all in one planter or a reusable gardening pot and offer the entire treat as a party favor?

I had the containers on hand; painted mini ceramic pots or terra cotta pots would work just as well. I only had orange candy melt and yellow candy corn. The center is half of a jelly bean.

How pretty would these look in any number of color combinations? A white cake pop with a blue flower on top in a clean white pot. Or a chocolate cake pop with "harvest" candy corn in the fall, in a beautiful black pot?

Imagine how cute these would be as parting gifts for a birthday party, an end of year student or teacher gift, a graduation party, wedding or baby shower-even a wedding.

We can create this special treat for you for only $3.00 each. The cake pops can be cake, brownie or sweet bread (banana, pumpkin). The candy melt, container and filling can be coordinated to match your event. A note tag can be created for your own special message. Minimum order of 10, with at least three days notice to ensure the freshest ingredients.

What? You don't like cake?

I've had a few people recently ask me if cake pops taste like cake. Maybe. Maybe not.

They have a cake-like consistency, but since the frosting is mixed in with the cake, it tastes more like angel food than cake.

To help those out there who want cake pops for their event or special occasion, but they don't necessarily like cake, we wanted to let you know about our newest offerings: brownie and bread pops.

Brownie pops will obviously have a delicious, decadent brownie center covered in luxurious candy melt coating. But what are bread pops? Wheat bread covered in chocolate? Not exactly.

Banana bread, pumpkin bread, ginger bread....all handmade especially for you in a perfectly portioned cake pop. Sounds delish, doesn't it?

We are almost ready to launch a new aspect of our business-shipping. We're researching rates, shipping materials needed and trying to come up with an economical, yet safe way to ship our cake pops.

Our Newest Creations

One of the nice things about making orders for friends is when they say "I don't care if you give me the practice pops, they're so delicious no matter what they look like."

We did an order like that today, and spent some time playing around. We made a robot, a frog and a cool alien. The alien is a banana bread pop, covered in chocolate. It was SO yummy!

We also put together a Mother's Day order. All cake pops were Candy Mix. We were given free reign on decorating.

47 Cake Pops!

Last night, we decorated about 47 cake pops! It's a lot of fun to sit around and dip and sprinkle and bag and tie and arrange. We were working on an order for a birthday party that needed hot pink and chocolate cake pops, in a hot pink container. Too much fun! We filled the containers with gum balls.

We also worked on a Mother's Day order. The request was for pink and brown pops. Those were A TON of fun to decorate.

These are some of the candy mix cake pops we made for Mother's Day. Trust me, they are as delicious as they are pretty :)
